What finishes does SEG Systems have available for my frame?

SEG Systems has countless finishes available. Typically, frames are powder coated which helps to create a more durable surface, but we can also anodize, paint, and clad in wood.

Need an exact match? Not a problem. We can find the color or the matching PMS for you.

Not interested in anything permanent? Try vinyl! The possibilities are endless!

How do I install my SEG frame?

Most of SEG’s frames can be installed at an associate level, so we created an entire book of assembly guides. If you still have questions, reach out to your Project Manager!

How do I clean my SEG frame?

Aluminum frames with no paint or powder coat can be cleaned with a cleaner or solvent such as Goof Off.

All powder coated frames should be cleaned with a glass cleaner such as Windex, as to not tamper with the coating.

How do I pay SEG Systems?

ACH: With your authorization, we will pull an ACH payment directly from the account you provide.

Wire: You are welcome to wire SEG Systems payment for your project. Please contact your Sales Representative for this information.

Check: Please make all checks payable to SEG Systems.

Credit Card: Please submit a Credit Card Authorization form to your Sales Representative.

Collect on Delivery (COD): If this option is chosen, you must pay the total amount due upon delivery.

Net Terms: SEG Systems will send an invoice if this option is chosen, giving you 30 days to pay your total.

How do I track my shipment?

Once your order has been completed and sent through Quality Control, it will reach the shipping department. All shipment notifications are delivered to the e-mail address provide at the time of order.

What happens if my package arrives damaged?

Please notify our Shipping department with any delivery issues within 24 hours.

How is my project shipped?

SEG Systems provides compact shipping to protect your project and your wallet. If your project is large, it will arrive in a custom-built crate with added protection to make unloading as convenient as possible.

What about taxes?

SEG Systems has Nexus in certain states. Reach out to your Sales Representative for more information.

No tax is charged when a resale certificate is provided.

What is the thickness of the silicone edge bead?

SEG Systems’ extrusions are designed for 3 mm X 14 mm silicone edge beads.

What if my graphic doesn’t fit?

Be sure that your graphic has been installed properly. If it is installed properly and still seems loose, you can double tuck your graphic by folding the silicone bead over, then pushing it back into the frame.

How do I wash my SEG fabric?

If the graphic is small enough, you can put into a washing machine or a commercial size washing machine. Wash on gentle cycle with cool water. Tumble dry low or air dry. Dry cleaning is NOT recommended.

What is blockout fabric?

Blockout fabric is engineered to evenly distribute lighting inside of a lightbox and increase the backlit graphic’s brightness. This is achieved by the fabric’s white surface on the inside reflecting, all while stopping any light from leaking out or being absorbed.

What does SEG stand for?

A silicone edge graphic is a high resolution, dye-sublimated fabric finished with a thin silicone strip (hence, SEG: Silicone Edge Graphic). The thin silicone edge is easily inserted into SEG Systems’ aluminum frames creating a clean, powerful look for any space.
