SEG Systems Joins Huntersville’s Historic Time Capsule

SEG Systems Joins the Town of Huntersville in Celebrating 150 Years

As new Huntersville residents, SEG Systems was honored to be invited to participate in the Town of Huntersville’s time capsule to celebrate its 150th Anniversary. The time capsule to celebrate Huntersville’s Sesquicentennial Celebration was revealed during the 2023 Holiday Celebration in Veteran’s Park and included submissions from various businesses throughout this historic community. 

For the time capsule, SEG Systems was challenged to create something 2.5” or less that signified who SEG Systems is at its core. Our talented team of engineers designed and created a 3D coin measuring 2.25” in diameter and 0.15” thick that perfectly fits the occasion. The coin was a custom in-house printed piece made up of two faces and dedicated to showcases SEG’s commitment to craftsmanship and creativity.

One face features the SEG Systems logo with one of our founding principles: You Dream It, We Design, Engineer, & Build it! The other face is an intricate pattern of the aluminum extrusions that our company is built on.

The coin was 3D printed using one of our Anycubic Photon S printers and is made out of Anycubic UV Resin. Once printed, the coin was painted with a flat antique nickel for the face then a black acrylic paint was utilized for the lettering and frames. The coin was then finished with a satin clear lacquer.
