Showcasing a trophy is a big deal. Think of how many photos will be taken – you don’t want anyone to snap a photo of your win at a bad angle, do you? The Cotton Bowl needed a custom SEG pedestal that was portable and photo-worthy to present the winner’s trophy on the field. SEG Systems’ solution was to create a lightweight portable pedestal constructed from 1.25” deep fabric frames, topped off with a CNC cut black Sintra top.

Not to finish there, they needed a trophy display to sit in the AT&T Stadium lobby. The counter display needed to be reusable and able to be continuously updated throughout the years. SEG fabric frames are the ideal solution for easy graphic change out, this time constructed from our corner lightbox technology and an LED panel on top to light up the trophy and helmets.

Ceiling Signage

CEILING SIGNAGE

When it comes to creating a branded environment with a blank canvas (like a white tent), it is often difficult to create that impactful retail experience you long for in a brick and mortar setting. You can fill the area with retail fixtures and cover the wall with unique signage, which SEG Systems did using our 3” deep SEG frame, but ceiling signage is often forgotten.

This ceiling fixture really sets off the room and creates that shop in shop effect. The ceiling fixture for this project was constructed from SEG Systems’ corner frames that are built to create a seamless edge around the inside and outside of a fabric lightbox. The beauty of this ceiling fixture system is that each silicone edge graphic panel is interchangeable, giving you the flexibility to change out graphics – either one at a time or all at once – cost effectively.

NBA All Star Red Carpet Backdrop

The first NBA All-Star event held in Charlotte took place in 1991. In 2019, after almost twenty years, the kings of the NBA returned to the Queen City for the NBA All-Star Weekend. Charlotte welcomed roughly 150,000 attendees at 150+ events over the four-day event weekend.

With all that being said, the pressure was on. SEG Systems created a red carpet backdrop (also known as a step and repeat) for stars to pose in front of. The solid temporary wall was constructed from three large SEG freestanding frames built with our 3” aluminum corner extrusion.

When walking through the doors of this retail store, you are immediately greeted with lightbox arches and begin to be immersed in the store’s brand experience.

Once your customers are inside, glorify your products by illuminating them with light. This display solution was constructed from a number of lightboxes fixed together with magnetic shoe mounts on the face. These individual lightboxes allowed silicone graphic changeout flexibility so that the store could choose to change out panels of fabric graphics and not the whole display.

Collaborating with Jack Porter, SEG Systems was able to produce a centerpiece honoring retired basketball player numbers at Michigan State University. As the highest honor a player can be given, Michigan State was looking for a memorable and worthy tribute for their teammates. SEG Systems built a custom millwork console using curved wood and white laminated wood with integrated LED light technology all around.

Curved frames and custom LED panels were fitted into the counter display with vinyl to create recessed lit silicone edge graphics to show off each player’s success story. On the bottom edge, green LED lighting shined around the curved console. To complete, a custom center podium was designed to support a Spartan head form with lit custom 3D acrylic lettering beneath it reading “Elite of the Elite” to create a true commemoration for Michigan State’s basketball players.
