Duke Energy was looking for a design that mimicked the feeling of energy levels fluctuating. With that, SEG Systems incorporated timed lighting within the walls so that the brightness intensifies as the day goes on and lowers as the day comes to an end similar to how the sun rises and sets.

These custom-made acrylic walls integrated LEDs and custom coding to control the brightness and duration of the lighting. To make this happen, we engineered 2 new aluminum extrusions that were designed to capture LED panels. We also produced custom Lite Brites to promote employee interaction.
